Terribly sad to hear of your passing. You were a terrific man, funny and knowledgeable. The care and friendship you had for my father when he was so ill is something I will never forget. I love seeing you come into the pharmacy (as a customer) and asking me how my pregnancy was going. May you rest easy and be in peace.

Big John, you were one of a kind and I always looked forward to seeing you. You were so capable and so bloody funny. I’ll always cherish our love of Monty Python and the many other laughs we shared. You were such a good friend to Mum and I was relieved more than once to know that you had swooped in and saved the day! Rest well dear friend.
