Dear Maree and families, our hearts are so heavy at this time knowing the pain you are suffering. Please know that you are always in our thoughts and we so look forward to the time when we see uncle Les again in the paradise without the effects of this system to bring us down. We know that Jehovah is watching over you all, he feels your pain and he will give you peace. He is a God of love and hates to see his children suffering. When sadness threatens to overwhelm you focus on Jehovahs love and lean on him. Isaiah 65:21,22. Truck loads of love. ❤

Dear Maree & family I watched Les’s service on the video link just now as I couldn’t attend in person. My heart goes out to you at at this time. 💙 You have a wonderful family who are wrapping their arms around you in your grief, Jehovah will take care of you all & Bro Les too. I would just like to acknowledge Becky, you made me cry Becky, you took me down memory lane with your beautiful eulogy, your dear Dad to a T. 💖 We were one of those families your Dad “rescued” after we hit a kangaroo in our car. We never forgot his selfless act in coming to collect us in the middle of the night. Much love to you all 💐 Christine Page

Dear Maree and family, Our hearts go out to you all, as you cope with your great loss. You all will have happy memories, and these will support you. And as well, may you each find sustained true comfort in knowing that Les is just asleep, so very safely in Jehovah's unfailing memory - the safest place to be. To think, that He is longing or yearning to grant the gift of life again to all our loved ones taken by that relentless last enemy, death. (Job 14:14,15) Our very warm Christian love to you all, Alan & Lynette Sigg

Dear Porter family, Very sorry for your loss, it was a very dignified funeral that was nice to remember him by. Les was a very generous and kind man and will be missed for a short time, as we'll see him again soon. It was nice to see his old truck and how the boys carried him to his resting place. We'll be thinking of you all and keeping you in our prayers. Love from, Wessels Family

We join with you in mourning the loss of a truly lovable, kind, humble, well respected, hard working and generous man - a respected much loved dad and husband. Les left us with valuable and powerful life lessons - mostly by example, and on occasion - by well chosen words. May joyful memories and the Bibles sure hope and promise be of comfort to you as you grieve his passing in death. Dear Maree & Family, we have never met you or Les, but know most of the Porter boys and only have wonderful things to say about them as men, which really is a tribute and a testament to your family and in specific the brilliant parents you and Les are! Good apples come from good trees! No doubt Les will leave a painful void in every heart of the Porter family. We send you our most heartfelt love and sincerest condolences during this difficult time. We can’t imagine how painful it is at present. However we are thoroughly confident that it won’t be too long til you see Les again soon abundant in health and wellness. Til then may Jah heal your heart and supply you with endless comfort. Sending all our love Colin & Lesley Anthony xx(Melbourne)

May it comfort you to know Les is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about him and bring him back again. Les has a "good name" with all who knew and loved him. We're thinking of you all at this sad and difficult time. Its a time to reflect on our own lives as well so we can express our love to those we love, to mend any rifts we have with friends or family members and to "make sure of the more important things"! No doubt Maree, and your close family, will walk around with aching hearts for a long time so we hope you find consolation in the love and support from those who love you.

I am sure everyone sending messages of loving words that’s come from their heart’s which can help you during this tough sad tragic moment in your lives. Which can feel unfair and unrealistic. Especially during this selfish sad time which death takes from us all unfairly in this time period.
